We have left out the many small cougar sites that appear in search results but run on shared networks with no clear owner. If you cannot find out who runs a site, think twice before giving it your card details.

Local Cougars

Local Cougars has been matching older women with younger men since 2013 and now counts more than 2,000 members in four countries. In the UK almost two thirds of members are women, mostly 35 to 44, and most men are under 35, which is the cougar dynamic exactly. Every free account can send a number of messages each day, which is unusual, and a free ID or video check gives you a verified badge. Yes, this is our own site, so read the rest of the list too.

Toyboy Warehouse

A UK company that says it was established in 2006, Toyboy Warehouse is the long-standing British name for cougar and toyboy dating. Every profile, photo and comment is approved by hand, and there are iPhone and Android apps. You can join, search and send winks free, but messaging needs a paid subscription, and women must be at least 24. Our full comparison has the detail.

CougarLife

The best-known international cougar brand, owned by the same group as Ashley Madison. Women can start conversations free and most other features use credits. In October 2026 the UK addresses for CougarLife were redirecting to an Ashley Madison domain, and the iPhone app could not be found in Apple's UK store, so check how it works for you before you sign up. See Local Cougars vs CougarLife.

Tinder

Not a cougar site at all, but the biggest dating app there is, and plenty of age-gap couples meet on it by setting an age range. The catch is that you will not know who welcomes the age gap until you match and talk. New UK users now have to pass a video-selfie Face Check. See Local Cougars vs Tinder.

Feeld

A London-based app for open-minded dating of every kind, from non-monogamy to couples and kink. Age is one setting among many rather than the focus, but if you want to explore, it is designed for that. See Local Cougars vs Feeld.

How to choose

Ask three questions. Is everyone here for the same thing I am? Can I find out whether we click before I pay? Can I see who has proved they are real? A specialist site answers the first, a free account that can message answers the second, and a visible verified badge answers the third. Whichever you choose, keep the same safety habits on every site.
